A little about me
Hi, I’m Ember and I’m an authorised marriage celebrant based in Sydney.
At its heart, my services are about celebration and storytelling. I find the through line, connect the dots and spin the details into a ceremony to lift your guests’ hearts and remind you of the magic that guided your path to the alter.
My style of prose is romantic and warm with room for laughter. I like to strip back the traditional elements of wedding ceremonies and rebuild them with the values, character and charm of the unique couple at the centre of it. I’ll lead the ceremony with a calm and grounded energy so the attention is on you - your excitement and your experience.
Your wedding is not the end of your journey as a couple. It only marks the turning of a page and beginning of a new chapter. Let me tell the story so far.
I started When We Met as a business to launch my celebrant services and as a brand name for my pressed flower greeting cards - a project I’m forever tinkering away on.
As a creative type with a knack for new ideas and an eye for design, this space brings together my whimsy ventures under one sentimental title.
A little fresh but loving every moment
Although I’m a relatively new face on the wedding scene I’m head over heels for this industry! I get to combine my performance background with my passion for storytelling in the most rewarding and romantic settings.
